SEAL FUR & THE GENERAL USE OF FUR, LEATHER AND BONES
IFWTO supports traditional Indigenous ways of life and practices. This support is vital for the survival and sovereignty of Indigenous cultures, land and people. The use of seal fur and seal meat are fundamental parts of Inuit culture, which we support in its use for health, economic independence and sustainability.
When is the next IFWTO?
The next IFWTO will take place in downtown Toronto at Harbourfront Centre, late spring 2020.
Are there any upcoming hands-on or entrepreneurial workshops or panels?
We release all announcements through our mailing list, social media platforms and word of mouth, including special programming like workshops and panels.
How can I show my fashion, crafts or textiles at the next IFWTO?
We select designers through a juried process. We accept applications through a call for submissions from designers. The call is shared through our mailing list, social media platforms and word of mouth.
